Trolltunga (Meaning: The Tongue of Mountain Siren)
On this acoustic canvas , tradition and modernity, constraints and freedom, sound and silence are intricately interwoven. It piece delves into the experiences of women trapped between the confines of feudal thought and their inherent yearning for liberation. Each note resonates with their inner struggles, echoing the sentiments of those desiring freedom but fearing the label of the "siren". By blending the experimental enthusiasm of sound, percussion, strings, electric guitar and synths, this work seeks to give voice to the women teetering between the past and the present.
